It was time to get out of the city buzz and fall for serinity!!!!.... "A Travel trip"
Planning for trip was a big task and most of all choosing a place first that can set your mood right was a task for me on its own....
After lots of research work...sipping a hot coffee in our canteen...done... GOT IT!!! COORG it was!!!
and i knew the reason for that....the aroma of "COFFEE"....Ahhh it just pulls me there.... :) :)
Yes iam a "COFFEE ADDICT" and proud to be so :P
It all started in May last year and that the place was decided...it was time to decided who all...and just flashed an ad on my screen "How abt a Girls night"....and so "how about a girls trip".....we knew we were just going to rock it....
Hmmmm THE GIRLS TRIP....then the questions started where to stay...how to reach...and A BIG THANKS to GOOGLE :)....just dump all you dumb questions there u wil have an answer.... :) :)
Reachin Mysore was not a big deal from Hyderabad....and the real trip was the later part...Mysore to Coorg!!! Will check on this later :) :)
Where to stay????
You can do Coorg in several ways....You could stay in a luxury resort.....camp in a tent pitched on the cool hillside....enjoy a home-stay in King-style bungalows amidst coffee estates(now i say Queen - Style for obvious reasons), .....be a back-packer in a log room on a balcony that you reach by swinging yourself up on a rope and a prayer....you could try a filthily opulent extravagance with heated pools, chocolate-dipped strawberries and spas all around!!!!
Thoughts flowing in mind...luxury resort: Hyderabad has the best of those....camp in a tent & bagpacker: Dude its an ALL GIRLS TRIP....home-stay: sounds new and amidst of coffee estates ahhhh coudlnt ask for more...
The saviour GOOGLE did the job for me....lots of research work and the result "THE BETHEL HOMESTAY"....am sure all of you reading this will end up planning your trip to this place :)
All ready for the more mundane moments that are gonnna bring you back to earth but in a comforting way!!!!
the day has come...it was friday evening we had to rush to catch up for bus....girls trip and obvious that we were late no offense though ;) .....trip started off with a bad note :P
Goshhh lot more on d way!!!!
Reached mysore next day morning and 4 hours longggg journey to reach KUTTA....You can’t avoid Nature here — it’s vast, stunningly beautiful, and all around you...the journey goes through a natural reserve for an hour and u feel it be so own....the deers just pasing by and wishing you with a smile in its eye....peacock dancing noticing our presence...after all we seemed like princessess...cant help it :P
"I wondered why Rakesh - owner of Bethel home asked us not to cme in car when spoke to him for booking"....we had to get in to JEEP to reach our HOLISTIC destination....Now i knew the reason.....No gym no exercise...travel in this road everyday i bet u will be fit and fine....ROCKY???? RUGGED????....Ahhh finding hard to pick the correct adjective!!!!
Now that we had a free deep tissue massage, every kink out of my muscle aching...but the moment you enter the resort it takes your breath away in fact...spread like an rainbow on the very edge of a high hill with a spectacular view of the nature...the strong wind hugging your hair... kissing the forehead , nothing but sky between you and the view, it’s easy to forget your own self.....
You could be a bird....resting before taking wing again to tumble freely in the clouds....
I was more than satisfied....I needed it to be, especially after that very long tiring journey that tested patience and agony to a heaps extent....!!!!

SWISS Cottage...thats what it was called.....amazed by its look...i felt soo close to nature......we rarely find such in cities....
Soo lost in it we didnt even notice there was no current nor cell phone signal....none of the operators could perch there wicked wings there ;)....was slightly worried about the night tough....Shhhhhh :P !!!

After having sumptous lunch (almost 15 varieties).....we headed to check out the coffee plantations (or "Kaaapi" as locally called) and tea estates... soothing aroma took me over into a different world....mmmm i still have goosebumps when i think of the aroma!!!!
A bit of tea and coffee plucking and some gyaan on how to pluck those we returned back to our stay
to take a glitch of campfire set up for us!!!!
Campfire in a ice cold weather with a hot pot of coorg coffee and snacks as (panner pakodas...gobi manchurain..aloo bajji...) the mood had to sing and dance and get into those moments were we could completely immerse into our own self!!!!
We were moving closer to nature every single moment....no electricity and all the resort was still lightening bright as a pole star with campfires lit all around!!!!
Far by a distance there was a spark of light moving towards us...staring at it we realised it was "Chotu-The helper" carrying a solar lamp in his hands :P....
Night was bit scary as expected....spent some time gazing the stars which have literally diaspperead in cities now a days....trying to hard sleep but the roaring wind....birds letting us know their presence all the time....temperatures getting lower minute by minute.....we could hardly sleep ;)
Some one truely said its the "SCOTLAND of INDIA"..... :)
Next day was a new day...TRECKKING in a private property of Rakesh our Host....A nature walk that makes hardly a ripple on the surface.....!!!!
It’s a sweet little exercise designed to make us feel all outdoorsy.....but you have to ensure that you dont break a single pretty fingernail....Chotu came with us as a guide....and i tell u nothing can take away from the sheer beauty of bhramagiri mountains all tucked away into the hills and landscape, almost organically blended in :)
I just loved myself after that trecking....every limb of me asking for rest....tanned....could never look soo beautiful....and now my feet demanded some luxury....How about a pedicure???? .....A FISH PEDICURE....Yes my feet received the best pedicure ever and mind you natural one :)
Time just passed like flash and we had to return.....if left to me i would spend all my life there soaking in nature....reading a good novel...sipping a coffee...and experience the eternity daily....!!!!
I know lazy me....but who wouldnt like being lazy in such a place!!! ;)
I just cant stop myself praising the warm welcome we received....the best host i have seen...RAKESH...will never forget the hospitality....a BIGGG thankyou :)
Continuing the legacy of the trip we now headed to Irupu falls......looking at the height it was...mind said "Idiot look at yourself...you cantttttt" .......but heart said "Darling its just a few steps ahead...go on"...Climbing almost 500 steps...Reached and felt as if i conquered the world...and heart said "See you could do it" ; mind said "well done" ;)...
All the tiresomeness was flushed like the water flowing from the heights....never felt sooo relaxed...so calm...!!!
Through the natural reserve again felt as if nature and all the animals were shouting with sigh saying "Going back to hell from heaven...pity you"...
I wanted to shout back hard "Pchhh cant help it...I have to... :( "
You are in Mysore and not visitng the palace....it ll be a curse that will follow you...had just half an hour to board the bus...but we just made it....gave it a glance and smiled at the heritage!!!!
This time we got into bus well ahead of time...may be trip has taught us being punctual :P...Overnight journey reached Hyderabad next morning....
It was getting easier to see just why all these little details are getting so unforgettable even after 6 months....!!!! :) :)
